TEACHING ARTIST
TEACHING ARTIST
With a deep commitment to both craft and care, my work in K–12 theatre education is rooted in joy, rigor, and lasting mentorship. I’ve had the privilege of serving as a teaching artist for the schools and programs listed below, collaborating with young performers in classrooms, rehearsal rooms, and everywhere in between. What follows is a selection of those institutions, along with a few of the projects we’ve brought to life together over the years.
Student Spotlight: Avery Buchanan
Avery was one of my first-ever students, and her firecracker spirit would always light up a room. I am beyond honored to have gotten to help guide her journey. No matter what she does in life, I am confident she will continue to carry her sparkle and everwhere she goes because of what she learned in the theatre!
EIGHT YEARS LATER
Here’s what she has to say about her experience
Sydni has been an integral part of my son’s growth in the arts. She was the first person to give him a role based off his potential. She has been a big sister providing valuable insight but allowing him to create his own path and get life experiences. If you are looking for someone to relate, inspire, and provide valuable input to your growing artist I highly recommend Sydni.
